Go Fit Boot Camp- Charity for Paul Schultz

Start: Sunday June 17, 2018 at 9:30am CDT
End: Sunday June 17, 2018 at 10:30am CDT

First- for those of you who don't know- Go-Fit Bootcamp is an amazing company run by Justin Plesnik (aka Plez). It is a mobile bootcamp that brings fun & fitness to remote locations & he loves to support various organizations, charities, and local community events. If you have never done one of these- you are in for a real treat- as they are amazing & his team puts on quite a killer class. (Go-Fit Mobile Bootcamps)

Second- Paul Schultz has been a good friend of mine for many years. He is an amazing father to his daughters, husband to his wife, and an awesome workout buddy. In April, Paul went to the doctor as he was not feeling well. In a matter of days- Paul's "not feeling too great" turned out to be Burkitt's Lymphoma. Burkitt's is a rare, non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma that originates in immune cells. It is an extremely aggressive form of cancer, therefore treatment is also aggressive. Paul will need multiple rounds of chemotherapy- which started immediately in April. Each time he has treatment, it requires hospitalization- as chemo is administered 24-hours per day for five straight days. Odds of survival for Burkitt's are good- but he has a tough journey ahead of him to kick cancer's butt. Due to the extensive treatment schedule- he will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time- especially with a compromised immune system.

If you do not know Paul- I think it is fair to say we ALL know someone who has fought cancer, beat cancer, or lost their battle to cancer. It is not a one size fits all diagnoses and it is heartbreaking for anyone to go through it.

There is no better way to show your support for Paul than coming out on Father's Day morning (since he deserves to be recognized as an amazing father to his two young daughters as well) & join us for an amazing hour bootcamp with Go-Fit Mobile Bootcamps!

It is a free bootcamp & donations are encouraged- as ALL money raised will go to Paul & his family to offset the costs of treatment, loss of working hours, and various other medical expenses.

All fitness levels are welcomed. Bring a friend, family...hell even your dad! Then afterwards- you can go enjoy an adult beverage or sassy food item at the Saloon on Calhoun- because hey, you earned it!

Come show your support & please share this event.

In the event weather messes with the date- we will make a post with the rescheduled date & time.
